Would love to hear which bunq features you will miss!

What I would would miss: - Multiple IBANs that are easy to set up (use this for automated budgetting) - More control over direct debits (set a limit, doesn't auto-accept when exceeded) - Easy switching card between accounts - 2nd pin (2 pins for 1 card that changes IBAN)

Interesting to hear about the card/account mapping. What do you use it for?

I have two angles on this from a personal and a relationship/living one. Let's give a bit of perspective:

Personal: I have ADHD, which in this context means I suck at budgetting/administration while also having to buy/try new stuff/subscriptions always. Putting a monthly budget on a separate account that I can easily pay from just helps with this

The living together side of things is more valuable for me (and also semi-related). It's basically an easy way of budgetting. First day of the month fixed amounts go into a bunch of accounts and by the end of the month you'll always notice where you're overspending

So this screenshot kinda sums it up (yes, bunq has a "blur balance" built in, they just love everyone showing off)pic.twitter.com/P3hbRiTRF6

There's other solutions to this "problem", but the fact that they have their own IBAN does provide a lot of convenience, as you can ensure direct debits target the right account.

I also have a separate account that I switch to while traveling. Really helpful with expensing to have regular expenses separated from the travel ones

I also have a business account with bunq (not the primary account for obvious reasons). So with a single card I use Pin A to pay "personal" and Pin B to pay "business", saves a lot of expensing back and forth

This is super insightful and I totally see the budgeting/control value!

Yes, I also had these budgets as bank accounts. Groceries, monthly payments, yearly payments, hobbies, holiday savings, everything went into a specific bank account. I’m reproducing that right now with a bunch of saving accounts, but it’s not the same.
