Why is Intel uniquely stuck? How is Apple confident that they won't run into a wall in a year or two?

Intel seems stuck on the production process, which is an integrated part of their business. Apple, however, can work with any fab that is able to get good yields

Hmm interesting — you think the problem at Intel hasn't grown severe enough that they're willing to go to e.g. TSMC to start producing future designs?

Pretty sure Intel wants to keep production in-house and I wouldn't be surprised if they figure it out
