I've been trying to lose about 30-40 pounds for...years? 100% of the time I just get stuck on food. It's not that I don't know *what* to eat, it's that I hate planning and, more so, *prepping* food. I just don't enjoy it at all.
Have you tried something like Hello Fresh, Blue Apron or Sun Basket? The latter is my favorite as it has more variance. Healthy meals, reasonable portion sizes, minimal preparation effort
