If you had to guess, how many people would you say have been infected with coronavirus in the U.S. so far? (The official number of confirmed cases is 554.)

What about deaths misclassified as flu deaths?
-
Oh man, trick question. I'm pretty sure other countries are testing suspected flu deaths but the US probably doesn't. The Netherlands, for example, tested *all* medical staff in its outbreak area. Haven’t seen that in the US either.

At a death rate of 2%, for 30 dead you probably have 1500 infected. Of course, 2% is where the epidemy is properly managed... in Northern Italy the death rate is 6% (a scenario more suited to Trump's stupidity)

Why are we counting the Kirkland deaths as one death?
-
Unlikely to have spread widely from there, considering the concentration, detection, and isolation. Hence, the infection spread hopefully is similar to 1 death
