I’m trying out some of our vehicle updates I haven’t had the chance to do yet and need to drive for +2h on Tuesday. Any advice on where in NL to go? Last time I went to Zaltbommel and it was the loveliest little place. Now want to see other parts, no big cities pls

Maybe just stroll the canals. Those are great. Drink a Belgian beer at de Beestenmarkt. If they set up a market around Markt, that's also a plus. Filmhuis Lumen is also nice for movies and watch some art at Prinsenhof!

Haha, I think
@ThijsNiks can add some more info, because he used to live there. I just grew up around Delft, so it's been awhile. Always found it very nice to visit.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

Delft is lovely! You gotta go up the New Church tower, see the graves in the Old Church, the Vermeer center is kind of decent, Prinsenhof pretty good, and Royal Delft is nice.

The Architecture Faculty, University Library, and DOK Library are worth visiting.

Get a quick lunch at Leo van Vliet (beenham!) or a larger one at Zondag, apple pie at Kobus Kuch, dinner at Malee Thai, Rossio or Postkantoor — though De Mol could be interesting, a beer at Locus Publicus, Klooster or Doerak, and listen to jazz in the Bebop.

Based on Google Maps, a bunch of new restaurants have opened up though which I haven’t tried yet. Centrale looks good (which used to be cheap student food), Tasca, Hummus, Thuis, Einstein
