DigiD indeed uses a central database to generate the keys, which means Dutch citizens abroad can’t use the ID-check because the app isn’t hooked up to that particular information system (RNI) https://www.digid.nl/inlogmethodes/id-check/ …pic.twitter.com/NpD3g0RuLy
