Until now, there have been no publicly available high-res satellite images of the area near Balakot where India said it destroyed a terrorist training camp. Now Reuters has seen an image that shows no apparent damage to a madrasa at the site.https://www.reuters.com/article/us-india-kashmir-pakistan-airstrike-insi/satellite-images-show-madrasa-buildings-still-standing-at-scene-of-indian-bombing-idUSKCN1QN00V …

This nifty graphics package--separate from the story--includes side-by-side images of the site... one from last year and one from two days ago. The photos appear to show no major changes, and no bomb damage https://graphics.reuters.com/INDIA-KASHMIR/010090XM162/index.html …

The SPICE 2000 is an Israeli-made weapon with a 2000-pound warhead. It is part of a weapons family that also includes 250-pound and 1000-pound variants. All are precision weapons.

Considering the size of those bombs--designed to destroy hardened military structures--and the lack of damage evident in the satellite images, analysts interviewed by Reuters concluded "the high-resolution images don’t show any evidence of bomb damage.”
