Hard disagree. It means anyone without Maestro has to go find an ATM, withdraw cash & pay higher fees. It’s customer-unfriendly & disproportionately shifts the economic burden to foreign travellers which, in an increasingly connected time, is an anachronism.

Alright, the calculator is barbaric. Never understood why ABN put up with that, while ING doesn’t.
