I think this grasps the defect in self-professed accelerationism, namely a hypostasization of structure that seems to regard the possibility of agency as wholly precluded and substituted by institutional activity (the kind of mistake we also find in decent theorists like Luhmann)

But structure can't acquire this sort of autonomy. Agency is ineliminable *because* of the role it plays in the structuration of institutions. To think agency could be swallowed in this way by structure is a fetishistic fantasy of perfect integration through perfect alienation.
