if one would do a principal component analysis, what would be the 3rd most relevant dimension extracted? so that compass becomes a rubric cube...
Hmm, perhaps the Z-axis would just be the old-fashioned Left-Right spectrum hiding from view. Or it could be Major and Minor politics (as in D&G) -- so although and are adjacent here, one describes a reconstitution of existing identities, and the other a dissolution.
