...but Deleuze's view on the value of propositional logic, the role of sense, etc. clearly changed over his career. I'd be curious to know how this author deals with WP, in any case.

Lapoujade’s footnotes cite Deleuze’s high appraisal of Spinoza’s work as “a Logic,” and his goal in Cinema 1 & 2 “to produce a book on logic.” So there’s certainly something running through from his early to late works. I’ll keep an eye out for any relevant citations of WIP.

Sure. And fwiw I think it's annoying whenever someone takes the stance that because D said something is bad somewhere it is anathema. I just finished writing a Deleuzian theory of eternity - and D hates eternity! He says it all the time

On the one hand, Deleuze is pretty insistent that "Logic is always defeated by itself" in WP. On the other, Logic of Sense is happy to cite Frege and Russell. I think we have to go with the view in WP, though, because propositions are the stuff of logic in both cases....
