Spinoza’s thought is in Deleuze’s hands a theory of pedagogy: it is a question of creating the feedback loop of positive affects, of forgoing the orthodoxies which dampen joy. “Nobody can undergo for us the slow learning of what agrees with our nature, [of] discovering our joys.”
