I literally uploaded both videos at the exact same time, one took 8 minutes, the other took 1 hr 13 minutes. Did you read the tweet or watch the video? I’m beginning to think @TeamYouTube is actually a bot.
Could it be that there is too much data going upstream at the same time with dual uploads? I'd try to upload them at separate times and see if its changes.
No, the processing doesn’t have to do with upload speed… Processing is once it “gets” to YouTube, after it is uploaded. Yesterday, I uploaded at two separate times of day, and had similar results.

You should get other Youtubers to do a similar test, so that you have multiple data points
