    i feel like we're constantly told that it's important to be open about mental illness and to take care of ourselves but i've always found that there's little room given to actually do the work of keeping yourself stable. gotta stay productive!!!

    always feels wild when people think "going for a walk" is some sort of magical panacea for my long-term anxiety issues. sorry sharon, but when i go for a walk the screaming voice in my head comes with me.

    the idea that humans universally "need" offices only works if you put having a job as the centre of human existence - there are other, less soul destroying ways that people can interact under normal circumstances.
