          Britain will also change the terms of when the UK might threaten to use nuclear weapons. Now, a state that does not have nuclear weapons but threatens a cyber, chemical or biological attack using “emerging technologies” will be open to retaliation.

          The events of the last four years should convince everyone that the reliance on the US cannot always be guaranteed. That was 4 years, no one can see what will happen in forty years and if we get rid of our nuclear deterrent now then that’s it, it’s gone forever.
