Currently, public sub counts are abbreviated in most but not all places across YouTube. In August, we’ll make this more consistent by always showing abbreviated sub counts publicly. That would require @YouTube actually listening to creator feedback and do the right thing.

Not necessarily . . . if me as a creator can see my stats, maybe me as a creator can share these stats with social blade, therefore the information will be made public . . . I just don't know if there is API for the subs information from behind the login.
