China is cracking hard on the uyghurs. But they have double the children the Han in Xinjiang have, and thousands of Han are living what in the end is a poor remote region with few opportunities. Unless China starts outright killing them off, they'll eventually win.https://twitter.com/CarlZha/status/1033585097251778560 …

Ethnic conflicts always end in genocide. In the long run what leads to genocide is merely the initial contact between two groups. You don't prevent genocide. You prepare for it. Remember, you are descended from winners of genocides.

Often too that males of a race is exterminated. And the comely women they take for themselves.

Indeed. That's why there is evidence of a huge Y-chromosome dip in the bronze age while the x chromosomes are unaffected.

Moses already said everything we needed to know in Deuteronomy. Scientists really should make better use of their time. What's the point in proving something we all already know?

Having to rely on empirical science to validate plain ancient wisdom is a unique phenomenon to the modern west.

Well this epistemology helped develop modern science, while you guy keep drinking powdered tiger penis, so there’s that.

And somehow the civilization that developed modern science now thinks tasty tacos are worth the lives of its children and they shouldn't exist. I will take tiger penis over tacos paid for with my daughter's life.

I hear you. But modern science kicked your ass once and will do it again at some point in the future if you keep scamming people with weird powders 100 years after Lu Xun.

If you don't recover some of your collective survival instinct there won't be any modern science to do any ass kicking in the not-too-distance future. It will be tiger penis vs albino liver.

Now that China is going full speed ahead in the realm of forbidden bio sciences I think we will at least survive. But then again it might not be "us" that will survive when the dust settles.

The Romans and Greeks thought the barbarians were bad when they were being pillaged, and the Dark Ages ensued, but it turned out well for the West (until now) On a long enough timeframe, everything works out 😅
