But who cares? It's world domination what’s not that important. IQ (among other things, but you *need* high IQ) is the basis of a rich and orderly society. At this rate this Alessandra chick is going to introduce her black gf in no time.

You're saying IQ is important for the purpose of order and wealth. But what is the purpose of order and wealth? Is it not very similar to that of 'world domination'? Is it even possible to distinguish one from the other?

China was always (by the standards of the time) orderly and wealthy, but never sought world domination. Rome was orderly and wealthy but never sought domination beyond its immediate region. World domination was a very odd phenomenon that happened in a very particular time.

Yet the "immediate region" of Roman empire had kept expanding for centuries! History is full of ambitious empires that planned on world domination, from Egypt to Hittites to Alexander the Great to Tamerlane to Genghis Khan etc.

Of course not. Then you have European age of exploration, etc. up to and including the American "soft power" empire.

But anyway, let’s admit that “ability to achieve world domination” and IQ don’t map 100%. So fucking what? I don’t want world domination. I just don’t want dumb immigrants. Population IQ is not everything but it’s part of what makes life worth living.

I also think that immigration levels should be severely reduced or even stopped, but I simply think that IQ is a bad argument to use. It might work to convince 5-6% of the population who care about IQ, but it's unlikely to affect policy.

That it's a bad argument *to use*, I agree wholeheartedly. But no need to trash the concept in public. I don't trust people who deny IQ, to have a clue about anything.

Many "deny" it because they question the influence of heredity. Of course *we* know that IQ is highly hereditary, but we also know that Flynn effect exists. It's not obvious that when you take countries with low IQ and improve conditions there, the average IQ won't improve.
