The problem is when someone does, it gets torpedoed by the next platform layer up. Pretty much everyone has gotten payment services pulled, Anglin got DNS, DDOS protection, and hosting pulled repeatedly.

Moving from YouTube to some other video website isn't hard. Payment is an issue that won't get solved while everyone is still there getting Google shekels.

Moly is publishing to BitChute, probably the only somewhat viable content-neutral video site. Payments will continue being an issue until either bitcoin/lightning gets more penetration or the processors are somehow forced into neutrality.

Perhaps parallelly yes, but no content creator will give up on channels that have 100x as big an audience as the alternatives as long as they are not absolutely forced off.
