Which is lunacy. Growth comes from trading with rich nations. Poor nations are poor and don't have spending ability. Which is why western powers ended up moving troops to enforce their claims. China can't do that and will get fleeced. Ah, Marxists.

@niubi china has transformed Africa and opened eyes about partnership. Don't think you can compare to Western. Hard workers. -
China's job is to transform China, not Africa. Claims of Chinese altruism are as ridiculous as the south China sea.
-
It's not just altruism but having a big impact.

What is the evidence that China thinks that going into Africa is the key to its future? Or the 10th most important factor in its future?
-
State media hype about Chinese-African relations.
-
Global reach of that sort, in far-away but poor countries, is more a sign of success than a source of it. Of course they’re proud of such signs. It would be inhuman for them not to be proud of that. Hence the hype.
