    I don’t understand how people still feel like not expressing these things helps them in any way. If you don’t say it you’ll definitely show it. Which is saying it anyway. And when you’re affecting people around you, they’ll have to force it out of you, which is just so pointless.

    Expressing negative emotions is a good thing. Most people think they’re hiding their negative emotions well, when in reality they’re just projecting them in a destructive way. Might as well take a more direct approach

    This is some superbly stupid shit. 1) Slavery in Haiti lasted from ~1492 to ~1793 (~301 years). Slavery in the US lasted from ~1619 to ~1865 (~246 years). 2) Grits originated from Indigenous people native to where Africans were later enslaved. That's why AfAm folks eat grits.
