this is why its important to support POC in every part of your life, seeing POC in fashion and art and business having positive experiences will effect how you go about your activism and representation.

I'm just so exhausted. There's definitely a time and place for racist trauma but maybe just maybe consider whether you need to depict it at all? (in this specific case: nope)

Even worse when it’s a fantasy setting and the only way peeps think a POC-coded race/character can have tragedy in their backstory/identity is racist violence :|

Maybe not enough of us have POC doctors or coworkers. It's natural to create your characters from your experiences. Without thinking about it, I write more diverse doctors than dentists. Some people don't live in mixed areas. I guess their only experience is thru TV.
