Can I be blocked? I think it's a terrible idea for the twitter mob to shame websites into complying. It implies mob rule. Morals are fickle, and what is moral today won't be moral in 15 years. Should all the accidentally-immoral content be deleted 15 years from now too?

The reason it's important not to take down the content of people you hate is because the results are worse than the victory you gain from winning. Youtube rarely attacks just one person. If they attack Crowder, they'll be attacking everyone with similar content.

I can see the reply coming: "Good! All of that content is bad." Well, maybe. But that implies perfect judgement. Are you sure that of the hundreds of channels that you want Youtube to purge, they'll be right 100% of the time? Is that innocent channel worth less than your victory?

Because remember, when you ask Youtube to takedown Crowder, you're not asking them to take down that one channel. You're asking them to make policy changes that will have implications on hundreds or millions of voices.

Anyway. Proceed with the blockening if you wish.
