There's close to zero good publications covering media businesses from a business perspective.
Flash and Flames is very small and very awesome.
Besides that, there's nothing. Many try, but they're all horrible.

Only a fraction of their work covers the business side but I generally find Josh Benton's Nieman Lab columns and Matthew Ingram's CJR pieces go a lot deeper than most.
