    I decided that this year, every day, I would knit a row on a scarf to mark the corresponding daily temperature/weather of my town. It felt like a good way to engage with the changing climate and with the changing year. A way to notice and not look away. Here's January then.

  10. The last time I was in Indore, I made it a point to try find plastic garbage on the roadside and except for one occasion I found none! This the kind of cultural shift we need in this country where the song playing from the municipal vehicle in the morning is a catchy one! 3/3
