Isn't it a bit sad that businesses have to be told that "Authenticity" is a trend before they'll say, "Hey, maybe we should be more authentic??"

When I look back at many of the difficult decisions I've made in business, oftentimes I would say I was "confused" or "stuck." But the truth is, in hindsight, I almost always knew the answer, it was just that the right answer was also the *uncomfortable* answer.

I've traveled about a million miles, and I've NEVER seen anything like what I'm seeing now. 1 flight delayed yesterday, 1 missed due to delay, no rental cars available, and just had another flight canceled due to no captain. Is this what the foreseeable future looks like??

Over the years, I've had hundreds of podcast hosts send me their questions before the recording...and I've never read a single one of them. Why? Because I think there's something magical about real-time reflection and unprepared answers, and I like keeping it real. You?

Do you have a favourite book for your business? They Ask You Answer is a book we prefer can to all the time and constantly recommend customers read. Linda (Mum) and I have stayed up countless hours talking and applying the numerous tips this book gives.

• Study hard. • What others think of you is none of your business. • It's OK not to have all the answers. • Experiment, Fail, Learn and Repeat. • Knowledge comes from experience. • Imagination is important. • Do what interests you the most. • Stay curious.

Most personal newsletters are nothing more than humblebrags. Remember folks, talking about yourself can be fine, and maybe even brings the applause, but it NEVER makes the audience feel, and act, as their own hero.

Sitting here, battling with my bank (again) over an international wire that just came in from a recent speaking gig. If this was being done via #Bitcoin, the whole thing would have taken about 5 seconds.

We praise "work from home" today, but for years it was frowned upon, even viewed as "anti-social"...yet many still view "school from home" (aka homeschooling) as "anti-social"...time will prove freedom of work AND school location is best for all parties involved.

I'll never understand the need to announce on social media that someone has reached a certain number of followers, how they're humbled, honored, blah, blah, blah. If that's the high point of our lives, we've got some serious issues.

The biggest factor that will dictate U.S. Presidential Elections going forward is this: Which party supports #cryptocurrency the most? Crypto will be the ultimate swing vote in 2024 and beyond. Yet most in DC are totally aloof to what's really going on out there. Crazy.

Sitting at the kitchen table tonight and my 18 year old son was teaching his younger sisters how to invest in crypto. He also was chatting about how all his teenage buddies are getting into it as well. This is what mass adoption looks like friends. #BTC

Over 95% of what companies say is "proprietary" is total BS. It's par for the course. And if they'd simply get past this incessant need to hide their not-so-secret-secrets, & started showing what's underneath the hood of their business, then they'd actually stand out.

If people actually understood just how many millions of people are supporting their families in other countries through remittances, despite the fact that so much of that money never makes it to their loved one (Western Union anyone?) , they'd never gripe about #Bitcoin again.

You may not like #Bitcoin and crypto. But I learned a long time ago to never allow personal opinions to get in the way of smart business decisions. The smart money is moving to Bitcoin, and it's literally just beginning.

Although I don't discuss politics online, I do very much enjoy discussing them in-person, but here's my litmus test as to whether or not someone truly thinks for themselves: When was the last time you completely disagreed with those in your political party?

Time to get back to shaking hands and giving hugs. If you see me at an event this year, and you're up for it, I'm giving all the hugs and high fives you'd want. 🙂
