    I'm delighted that independent cinemas and in Woodbridge have all been supported by the government through the Culture Recovery Fund. I've enjoyed seeing films in each of them. Given we are in Tier 2, they are all still open

    We've now saved 200 independent cinemas - from Penrith to Penzance - with £16m from our Culture Recovery Fund And we're extending our Film&TV Restart scheme to keep cameras rolling: creating 1000s of jobs in creative industries across 🇬🇧

    Buddy Up was a new project started to combat isolation in Suffolk during the Covid crisis. Volunteers are linked 1:1 with someone nearby who needs support. Today I linked my 60th pair of friends so want to send a huge thanks to my wonderful volunteer buddies who are all stars!
