The acts of violence against churches and hotels in Sri Lanka are truly appalling, and my deepest sympathies go out to all of those affected at this tragic time. We must stand together to make sure that no one should ever have to practise their faith in fear.

Very soft and moderated language. So different to very strong condemnation of Christchurch attack on Muslims. Incredible double standards.

The leaders are to blame, even if not entirely, they see what is happening but willingly continue to leave their people at risk and bow to the pressure of not being racist. Right and wrong are quite easily defined in situations like these, to kill and maim is wrong...easy really

Thoughts and prayers are way past the rhetoric. Stop this self rightious talk and show action matter better than words.

Meanwhile the government refuses asylum for persecuted Christian converts but welcomes Jihadis back & gives them legal aid. Home office says Christianity is not a peaceful religion so can’t come. Laughable hypocrisy

Religious violence on peaceful Christians around the world should be condemned & strict action should be taken against terrorism by EU & UNO.
