There are over 3 million EU citizens living in the UK who will be understandably worried about what the outcome of yesterday’s summit means for their future. I want to be clear with you that even in the event of no deal your rights will be protected.pic.twitter.com/BkFnZeQPSh

Let’s see if the EU reciprocate on that point .. the way they are acting I doubt it !

Why should the EU reciprocate? If the UK public have made a decision then we must all live with the consequences.

Strange way of thinking about a club that is nearly impossible to get out of .. a club that bullies and intimidates to try keep members in. Strange mindset..

The consequences of leaving the club without a proper deal are catastrophic. Working in th financial services industry and London be the financial centre of Europe and hearing what these finiacial institutions will do is scary.

I disagree. Staying tied to them without a say would be catastrophic. We may have short term pain but our future is a strong one without being shackled to a failing EU project

I think we need them more than they need us. I haven’t seen one decent concrete fact about what a Brexit will do for me. All I can see is a doomed Brexit and isolation. Maybe in the next two generations it might be ok. But my children and yours won’t enjoy it.

The truth is Brexit will not affect the average man and woman at all zz It gives our country more sovereign powers to govern its own country without EU intervention on things like deportations, trade deals with other countries etc

Deportation??? My parents came to this country from Italy and worked hard to make a good life for me and my family and contributed to this economy. In the new world they would be packed off back to where they came from. Great!

A People's Vote on the final outcome of Brexit is perfectly democratic. Leave supporters have nothing to fear unless they kniw something the rest of us don't, like they cheated and lied in the referendum helped by Russuan meddling. But of course that wasn't the case was it?

How is it democratic when BOTH leave Campaigns cheated and broke the law and have been referred to the police for a criminal prosecution? Peoples data was used illegally to target them with propaganda. How was that democracy?

How is it democratic when commonwealth citizens could vote but EU citizens could not? You have a funny idea of democracy.

No, only people who have lived out of the UK for over fifteen years were denied the chance to vote. As has always been the case.

Sorry but you think it’s correct that UK citizens who have lived more than 15 yrs outside of UK were denied a vote on an issue which affected them more than anyone ? So much for UK being a leader in democracy !

Because we are full citizens of the UK that’s why like anybody else in UK and as full UK citizens we have to live by the same rules as all other UK citizens. People don’t leave their country because of negative reasons but because it happens as in my case for work .
