Your party invented Brexit
You gave people a binary choice
You activated Article 50
You have the majority in Parliament
You have been in charge of negotiations
You have brought the country to its knees
You have achieved nothing.
Yet all you ever do is blame Labour

Now if Labour would really oppose it, and demand another vote, led by the will of the people, we might get somewhere.
-
This never was a Labour issue. We'd be in exactly the same place as now, irrespective of what Labour did or didn't do. The last Parliament vote proved that. Tories voting against their own amendments and not respecting pairing. The only way to change is a General Election
-
Agree it's not a Labour issue, but I think it should be. With a majority of voters now wanting to remain (polls say), what better way to either put pressure to oppose the present Brexit path, or to win a general election. With the present Labour position, fewer will vote Labour.
-
That’s not point! This horror cannot be laid at Labour’s door! Tories must be allowed to disown it or forced to disown it until it’s done with!
-
Noone is laying this horror at Labour's door, but with the majority wanting a people's vote, it would be to their advantage to get on board, otherwise the electorate may look elsewhere.
-
1. Government: Delivering a Brexit with all the benefits of a single market and customs union is easy 2. Labour: OK if you can do that, we won't stop you 3. Tories: We clearly lied 4. Labour: You're incompetent, we want a GE. But we retain position of a PV, if GE doesn't happenpic.twitter.com/P9j4Ha1WfW

I had not seen the JM statement of the 18th. If the conditions of the revote would be made clear to the electorate and are strong enough, then Labour may well gain the votes of those frustrated & desparing of the process, though the longer this goes on, the worse for the country.

We had another people's vote in June 2017, you asked for an overwhelming personal mandate to lead Britain over the Tory 'brexit' cliff, we rejected you and rescinded your party's Parliamentary majority. You ignored us. We were correct, you are a shambles and not fit for Govt. Go.

The EU's fault, Labour's fault, remainers' fault. Strange how those that campaigned for it, those that voted for it and those charged with planning, negotiating and implementing are completely blame-free. You need a new slogan - Conservatives: its not our fault, its yours.
-
"Vote for me! Whatever irresponsible mindless and vicious stuff I do, it will all be your fault!" A winning campaign slogan I reckon.

The "Will of the People", a slogan beloved of fascists which enables leaders to delegitimise and demonise political opponents as enemies of the people. A slogan that whips up hate and tramples on the core democratic right to oppose, without which democracy does not exist.pic.twitter.com/av2q2ZxKMR

What is the will of British people? How do you know what the true will of British people is when the EU Referendum had been illegally manipulated by billionaires. Surely nobody voted for NO DEAL Brexit. At least have a decency to find out!!!!

1) Yes we had a referendum, yes by a slim margin overall the UK voted then to leave and I include my self in this... However... I have changed my mind & I want a people's vote so I can have a say in the future of my country! I want the UK to stay in the EU! I am embarrassed that
-
2) I ever believed some of the things said at the time... but we know more now... we should have a right to decide our futures based on the facts now available, not the fairy tales & lies told at the time!
@theresa_may please give the people of this country a choice of... -
3) ... staying or leaving once the "deal" is decided! This is democracy to vote on our futures and have a say!
