It seems that Trump has convinced the JCS to concoct a narrative the Iranians were about to take military action against US Forces. A blind deaf mute can see Trump & his cronies are Wagging the Dog. I am willing to bet there was no Intel that there was an imminent threat.

Ms Plames is correct, the Executive Branch has usurped the other 2 branches of Gov't. Elected officials are concerned about staying in power versus legislating. Conceding power to the Executive over the years we should have anticipated a POTUS like Trump would abuse those powers.
