NYC Mayor de Blasio says protester thrown in unmarked van by plainclothes officers was arrested for damaging police property: “This is not Portland ... what you see on that video is NYPD officers. I think it was the wrong time and the wrong place to effectuate that arrest.”pic.twitter.com/LtKWQ5Tn26

If they want to arrest someone involved in a peaceful protest, maybe have them in uniform, not a bunch of unnamed, shorts wearing thugs in an unmarked car, snatching someone off the street. They should be easily identifiable as police.

Then why where they released the following day? It does not matter if they where cops do it according to the law. Get a warrant and serve them like real people not like the feds then. This is a inane excuse for a lack of control of police in your city.

The police probably had to rent a van because all the cop cars have been burned by bpm an antifa.

If they where cops then why where they not in uniform, why did they not show up in a regular car. If they where cop then they broke the law just like the feds and should lose there jobs.

This is false. They are the warrant squad, a plainclothes police unit using unmarked cars You could argue they should have shown their badges, but plainclothes police units are legal and common.
