@therealkerni so that’s the end?

@therealkerni but bitcode will be required starting next spring or so? -
@macguru17 For iOS? Haven’t seen this, got a source? -
@therealkerni thought I overheard that in one of the WWDC sessions. -
@macguru17 It is required for watchOS and tvOS where they also blocked low level APIs. -
@macguru17 So optional, yes. Turned on by default, yes. But not required. - Show more

@therealkerni Hmm, where did you read/see/notice this? -
@rafifyalda I created a test app, with and without Bitcode, uploaded it (Testflight) and tested by crashing it :) -
@therealkerni That's kind of worrying. Is Bitcode enabled on new projects by default?

-
@therealkerni No way to retrieve dSYMs from iTC or Xcode’s crash logs? -
@noir Currently there are none. I don’t see any, tried.

-
-
@therealkerni@kyleve I don't think this is true. You should be able to download symbol files from iTunes Connect IIRC -
-
-
-
@therealkerni do you mean third party crash reporting or Xcode crash reporting? -
@borisyurkevich 3rd party and currently Testflight builds are also affected when grabbing the report from the device directly -
@therealkerni thanks, all I care is native OTA crash reporting. Helped me many times.

@therealkerni woah, not good. Will follow your advice in your support article. Thanks. -
@graemer957@therealkerni Developers can download dSYMs, after compilation in the App Store, from the Archives Organizer. -
@TheBeet1@therealkerni great - thanks for the info. Should be able to upload this to HockeyApp for symbolicating crash reports
