Imagine if @TeamYouTube split in two, with cat videos, gadget unboxing and people falling over on one side, and creators talking about real issues on the other. Which demographic of viewers do you think advertizers would want to spend most money on?

I think that the sad truth is they’d rather spend money on people that consume the kind of content that doesn’t require critical thinking.
