Eventually I hope teams start figuring out that doing these massive pre- and post-LAN roster shuffles isn't nearly as effective as just finding a decent coach who can teach four people how to work together.

Like, yeah, but at the same it shouldn't always take a coach to teach people to work together, nor is a coach the simple fix to any and every roster issue.

That being said, you are 100% right. It is not always a simple fix and sometimes not even the best coach in the world can fix a toxic situation between teammates. Coaches are, however, in a better position to objectively view the situation and assist accordingly.
