We barely have any teams that will meet the "3+ of original roster from Phase 3 NPL" requirement. Other regions only have a 2+ requirement. That's the biggest thing hurting NA at the moment under these rules. Besides that, this is an exciting announcement for sure!

Honestly find it weird other regions have 2+ because that means a team could split in half and both teams then get at inv. Should just be 3 everywhere

Other regions had systems in place to designate spot ownership. North America unfortunately did not.
