Just because you do something for more hours doesn't mean you will earn more money. You could work overtime at a manual labour job, or you could be educating yourself or working on a side project that could increase your earning per hour meaning you could earn more/same for less
Yup. People who think grinding = success have a rude awakening
Grinding contributes to success but if you don’t have it, you don’t have it 
People who just grind are usually the ones at the bottom, not always nice to say, but it's true. Unless you're willing to smarten up then you're going to end up walking the same path, for some people it's what they want and that's perfectly fine.
I see too many people bitch about grinding something and never succeeding, yet when presented with a different approach they resort to old habits "it worked and I got X level of success! If I could going I'll make it", then they end up back at the same point a month later.
