(2) I hardly ever criticize PUBG. I love the game and what’s gone into it. Forcing viewers to watch old Erangel and confusing new viewers as to why will further disconnect the two communities (comp and pub) that we want to be joint together!
It amazes me that they can cite "closing the gap between comp and casual" as their primary motivation while simultaneously denying us the map that we play on live. If they really wanted to close the gap they would adjust loot/circle settings and have competitive matchmaking.
I agree they can definitely adjust loot and circle settings in time. It isn't like the pros don't scrim 5 days a week. But it would require them to listen to pro player feedback on adjusting erangel 2.0 and we know how that went with sanhok lol
As an avid player and lover of the Esport side of PUBG the disconnect is embarrassing. I’ve had friends who want to understand try and watch with me and it’s so so different than public it’s not the same game.
