Have seen people in esports recently, of all sorts, worried about “what’s next” if something happens with their job
From experience, have a backup. Night & online classes, part time jobs. A degree, even if not utilized, is a great foundation to protect your future

Doesn’t help that there aren’t very many people in the industry that are looking out for the players’ futures. Especially given the youth targeted to fill its ranks. There’s definitely a lack of support structures/entities with that perspective in mind.

I was a musician for years and did online classes as a backup. Best decision I ever made as it saved me once the band ended. Take this advice friends.
