This is 100% not an American thing. This is a young street ware thing. Try wearing sneakers with a suit into any professional office setting and not being a CEO or other exec

I disagree, it's been on the upswing, particularly in younger companies. Its like jeans in a suit were 8 years ago imo
Again, walk into a professional company where suits are the norm like finance, legal, etc and you will be laughed at. Esports and other oh camera talent are different.

That's not true at all, I can find several pictures of CEO's, Lawyers and others where you think suits, Should be the norm and that is just not the case. I think the style of sneakers and suits is more of the norm more so then most think.
