Wow. Last two nights: Bed at 930, wake up 7am. Bed at 10, wake up 615am My body has decided it wants to play ball now, no more “oh fuck i can’t sleep and its now 5:30am and i’ve got to work a 14h shift in 3 hours” anymore. long may it continue

Those who don’t know me. Through a mixture of running my own business, the desire to want to succeed and keep everyone happy lend it self to chronically late nights and being sat at my desk all day. Now, i love that, i love working, i love serving my clients. 1/2

2/2 i have however completely ruined how much i sleep the last 3 years and it has been at it’s absolute worst recently. Imagine being “normal” then suddenly finding yourself being unable to sleep from 11pm -> 6am with a shit storm of emotions keeping you awake.

I put it down to work stress and thought it was normal to go through it, esp when running your own business that required love and affection, like having your first child. TWO decent nights sleep in 3 years like this, back to back, has knocked me for six. This feels good.

I feel so damn good I’m gearing up to take an early morning walk and feel normal while doing it. It’s the little things that make you feel good. I don’t want to jump the gun, but TWO decent nights sleep in a row IS unheard of for me in recent year. I hope it continues. <3
