I'm not intentionally being combative, but in traditional sports when you sign a contract and a team no longer wants you, it doesn't void your contract (usually). They either have to buy you out, or trade you to another team. If Lobes' contract expired, that would be different.
Maybe Lobes was at will. Maybe he was on a trial basis for a term of Phase 1. Who knows. Just don’t miss the point...have a backup plan whether that be in esports or otherwise

If he's on a trial basis you would normally have a sit down with the management team and they would explain that it wasn't working. I've been preaching the use of agents in esports more and more as the contract side of things is what bites players. There was prob a shady clause

still should have a backup plan though, esports isn't a safe haven where you can stay forever once you get in. You have to keep fighting to remain at the top.
