I don’t think that F2P will increase player base at this point. I feel that anyone who has wanted to play PUBG in the past 2 years has played it. Especially with Fortnite and Apex out, I don’t see a large population shifting to PUBG.

Anytime anything turns free to play you see an influx of people who simply want to try it now that is only a download away.

People always say this but forget the glaring fact that anyone who wanted to try PUBG before, likely already has. $30 and $20 (on sale) isn’t the AAA $60 price that stops some consumers at the door. You’ll get a few new faces, a lot of hackers, and probably the same #’s

There's surely a way to combat cheaters. Fortnite does a decent job apparently.

They just don’t release ban numbers. I would guess that Fortnite hackers are all over the place.

I mean, I don't see too many complaints about it on Fortnite. I see more complaints about stream snipers. And to be honest, if they can keep them at bay, I don't see any negatives to going free to play. Let people buy skins straight from the store.

I don’t browse the Fortnite community but I know for sure they have problems with cheaters. Shit I’ve already seen tons of twitch clips on Livestream fails of Apex cheaters.

Oh yeah, I mean... It's gonna happen. Can't get them all but it's not exactly the big issue with F2P games.
