There's surely a way to combat cheaters. Fortnite does a decent job apparently.
They just don’t release ban numbers. I would guess that Fortnite hackers are all over the place.

I mean, I don't see too many complaints about it on Fortnite. I see more complaints about stream snipers. And to be honest, if they can keep them at bay, I don't see any negatives to going free to play. Let people buy skins straight from the store.

Or do it like fortnite and apex and allow people to buy currency of they want to get skins but they can also earn it through playing the game too.
