Delidding isn't as necessary this gen. It's pretty straight forward to oc 9th gen, there's a really good video by
@der8auer which helped me to tweak mine further than I could without it. The AVX multiplier offset is pretty vitalhttps://youtu.be/95Ujni7-fVM

Bump up that voltage until it's stable but also not too hot. Too hot but still not stable = bump down the speed and voltage until it is

^ - I couldn't get full frequency on my RAM under any circumstances, so if you have just set RAM to xmp try taking that off and see if it is the problem. Ended up running my RAM at 3900 instead of 4000 until I can be bothered to start from scratch....
