I also have to question how much of an effect the youtube compression is having here. Obviously NVENC is looking very tasty here but YT compression is utter poo and can make some great quality video look garbage. I think we just have to wait for twitch to support h.265 honestly.

It compresses the whole video and both clips the same amount after its been rendered :P Its only the rendered video you're seeing the differences on

To this same argument I'd say that 6000 bitrate and 8200 bitrate tests are the same, when a variable is held constant everything is the same...so the only difference is the efficiency or quality of the variable options (Nvenc/X264). Although may be bivariable dependencies.
