All right so Im trying understand why is it so cool and awesome? Its about twice the price of popular behringer / yamaha mixers which has inbuild compressors and equalizers. If you just want a audio interface for your mic you can get a cheap scarlett and set up VSTs in OBS?

I also have a Shure sm7b and i just run it through a scarlett which is $100 and with free VSTs you can get the features the GoXLR offers, unless you prefer to adjust the volume of music through a switch on the mixer rather than using your mouse I guess
If that's all you're running your SM7B through then you are underpowering the mic and not using it to it's potential. You need a cloudlifter or some other type of power source, stronger than what is already being supplied by a USB-interface like a Scarlett
