With the explosion of popularity surrounding streamer and influencer tournaments it is important to remember what you are watching. This is not classic eSports this is CelbritEsports. It will and should be viewed and broadcasted differently. Equally awesome, but very different.

But it isnt. Its (usually) entertainment not people trying to go pro. It's like a celebrity golf tournament you'd never call it or cover it like the Open.

Traditionally I always knew Pro/Am to just be a mix or amateur and professional players. I think it’s good to have the game we work in receive that level of promotion. So long as it doesn’t hurt the actual pro scene.
