    Why would I trust "internet trends" as reported by anyone who thinks a 355-slide deck is an appropriate format?

    That's the more interesting trend represented by this report—the type of justifications people need to think seriously about tech.

    Its hype is driven by those signaling (by sharing & using data in own decks) "I'm into tech... in an adult way." Feels alien to the matter.
