Reading this, I instantly thought of another mammalian apex predator whose milk might cause inter-generational concentration of PCBs. Are humans hopefully/maybe way less sensitive than orcas to PCBs?

I can find a LOT of studies with humans having three and four digits of ng of PCBs / g of tissue. I found a nature review from 2000 with a table where the lowest # was 147 (voluntary cord blood) and the highest was 124753 (fat basis of amniotic fluid). https://www.nature.com/articles/7500090.pdf …pic.twitter.com/EZkN5d6iEY

Giz should do a piece on you and how it feels to write about a world you deeply care for, while watching it slowly unravel due to human idiocy.
